We intend to develop an approach not based simply on prohibition but, by developing the critical sense of young people, our objective is to give children the keys to control their choices on the internet themselves.

To this end it is necessary to mobilise the entire 'educational chain'  to reach all the actors (parents, teachers, politicians etc) so that the internet becomes a safe place.

Our action takes diverse forms:

• A web site : www.actioninnocence.org

• The promotion of secure practice of the internet by means of campaigns of prevention in schools. One of our key missions is to inform and warn the children, and their parents and teachers of the risks inherent to the internet. Our psychologists have for mission to animate sessions of prevention in the schools. To date this program is set up in the classes of CE2 up to the 4th grade. This represents 250 hours of prevention.

• With campaigns of prevention for the general public: we organize vast media campaigns (broadcasting of TV and movies, spots, advertising, participation in conferences) so that an ever growing number of persons become aware of the risks of using the Internet without supervision.

• Technologies of prevention

• • Action Innocence launched a revolutionary tool FILTRA which has for object to allow parents to choose the most effective method of filtering to protect their children. FILTRA lists and notes all the existing filters. It is accessible via our web site to the internet address www.filtra.info
  • The development of a tool to help with the detection of pedopornographic exchanges whether they be in the form of compressed images, videos, files.. This tool has been made available to the police forces of different European countries.

• Our legal and political actions : Our country having been made aware of the problems by our actions has created legislation to prevent any infringement carried out against our children.

The objective is to give to the children the keys control of the Internet!
